Fees
The Basic Course is $70 which includes the course fee and 2-year MARC membership.
Schedule
This will be a 12 week online course, meeting every Monday at 7PM, except holidays. We will be using Zoom for our meetings.

Course Overview
This course prepares a student to write the exam for the Canadian Amateur Radio Advanced Certification. Obtaining this certification allows an amateur radio operator:
Access to all frequency bands assigned to the Amateur Radio Service
Permission to use 1000 watts of input power
Permission to design and build transmitter equipment
The course extends the operator’s technical knowledge. Topics covered include:

Measurement Tools and Techniques
Power Supplies
Transmitters and Receivers
Antenna Systems

Fees
The Advanced Course is $30 and is only available to Mississauga Amateur Radio Club members. Membership is $35 for RAC members and $40 for non-members.

This will be a 10-12 week online course, beginning on March 3. We will be meeting by Zoom every Monday from 7PM to 9PM, except holidays.
